Fly Bubbly is from Kelly-Anne Davitt’s recent series of retro sweet paintings which explore nostalgic objects and childhood memories. Upon photographing Bubbly Bubble Gums in her garden a fly ambushed the photo-shoot and this was the ironic outcome.
