‘She Loves a Fat Sausage’ and ‘Hungry Hungry Hattie’ are both inspired by the bizarre nature of love/sex doll packaging. Davitt’s intention was to illuminate this absurdity and confuse the viewer by taking a grotesque sentiment and making it sweet and palatable.
