Cherries Limited Edition is taken from Kelly-Anne Davitt’s large scale oil painting, part of her Synthetic Optimism series. To enhance the vibrancy of colour; this image has been printed on Hahnemühle Pearl Giclee paper.

Kelly takes inspiration from the everyday bombardment of imagery, and revels in the facade of perfection, presented to us in the form of food advertisements and stock photography.

Vibrant pop tones and sumptuous detail are built up in many layers of oil paint. Kelly refers to these as her expanse pieces; they are unashamedly about painting, an exploration of colour, creating form and shine.
